  If I could give 0 stars I would. On January 19th I called Fort Collins Dental Group because I was not able to get into my normal dentist and I was having extreme tooth pain. They were able to fit me in the same day, however they attempted to scare me into an unnecessary dental procedure that would’ve cost me over $1500 after insurance. When I mentioned that I was concerned about the cost they offered me a Smile Generation credit card, which I declined, as financing the amount doesn’t change the fact that it was a ridiculous amount of money. They tried pressuring me into the procedure by telling me it needed to be done as soon as possible, but I decided to get a second opinion. After meeting with a second dentist, it turns out that I really just needed a basic root canal, which that dentist was able to do for less than ½ the price. Fast forward to now, and upon checking my credit report I have discovered that someone at Fort Collins Dental Group opened a credit card in my name without my authorization! I never signed anything giving them permission to open a credit card, nor have I ever received anything in the mail for this account. After calling the manager at FCDG he offered me no assistance and said that no one there recalls opening the account, however it is listed clearly on my credit report and the dates match when I was there. Luckily the credit card company was able to close the account and flag it as fraud, however it has caused unnecessary stress and has wasted my time trying to get the situation corrected. If you enjoy overpriced treatments, scare tactics, and unauthorized credit cards being opened on your behalf, then I would recommend visiting Fort Collins Dental Group. If you prefer being treated like a human being and not a dollar sign, I would recommend seeking treatment elsewhere.
